At Step Online, we’re keen on doing our bit for the environment. We’re actively engaged in reducing our carbon footprint, and the following is a brief overview of some of the things we’re doing to ensure that we’re having a positive impact.

• Our office is based at the York Eco Centre on Clifton Moor. The building is heated and cooled by ground-source heating, harvests rainwater for re-use and has its own wind-turbine, which provides some of the building’s electrical power.
• We recycle all our papers, magazines and cardboard.
• We use paper from either recycled or sustainable sources.
• We only post things out when absolutely necessary.
• Our staff are encouraged to bike to work whenever possible.
